The control layer AI has been missing
The organizations least able to use AI safely are the ones that need it most. Hospitals, police departments, courts, school districts, agencies, defense contractors, and regulated banks hold society's most sensitive records and are under the same pressure to adopt AI. They are stuck for the same reason: there is no control layer between the AI and the work.
Why we exist
When a clinician opens an AI tool to review a chart, nothing records what she asked, what the model returned, or what it did on her behalf. If a family sues, if a federal investigator asks, if an attorney general subpoenas the record, there is nothing to produce. That is the default condition of AI in regulated workplaces today. Verillian changes it.
